OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12 Pro just launched.

OnePlus recently launched its another flagship smartphone in India OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12 Pro with great and amazing specifications. Here we will talk about some of them.

The Pro is one of the latest flagship smartphones from OnePlus, It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is a powerful and efficient chipset for 5G connectivity. It has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

It also has a quad rear camera system with a 64-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, which supports 65W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. It runs on OxygenOS 14.0 based on Android 14 operating system.

The OnePlus 12 and Pro are expected to be priced at ₹64,999 and ₹69,999 respectively.

Differences and Similarities between OnePlus 12 Pro and OnePlus 12.

  • Display: Both phones have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and a punch-hole notch for the front camera. However, the OnePlus 12 has a higher refresh rate of 144 Hz, while the Pro has a lower refresh rate of 120 Hz. The OnePlus 12 also has a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio of 93.5%, compared to the Pro’s 93.01%. Both phones have Corning Gorilla Glass protection, but the Pro has a newer version called Victus 2.
  • Processor: The OnePlus 12 has a more powerful processor than the Pro. The OnePlus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is a slightly overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that powers the Pro. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 offers slightly better performance and efficiency than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
  • RAM and Storage: Both phones have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. However, the OnePlus has a faster storage type called UFS 4.0, while the Pro has a slower storage type called UFS 3.1. The OnePlus 12 also has a faster RAM type called LPDDR5, while the Pro has a slower RAM type called LPDDR4X. Both phones do not have a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
  • Camera: The Pro has a better camera system than the OnePlus 12. The Pro has a quad rear camera system with a 64-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The OnePlus 12 has a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. Both phones have a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
  • Battery and Charging: The OnePlus has a larger battery capacity than the Pro. The OnePlus 12 has a 5400 mAh battery, while the Pro has a 5000 mAh battery. However, the Pro has a slightly better battery life, thanks to its more efficient processor. The OnePlus 12 also has a faster charging speed than the OnePlus 12 . OnePlus 12 supports 100W fast charging, while the Pro supports 65W fast charging. 

Both phones have similar features such as 5G connectivity, dual SIM support, in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C 3.2, and Android 14 operating system. However, the Pro has some additional features such as an IR blaster, a color spectrum sensor, and a more durable design with a matte finish on the glass back and a slightly more curved frame.
